The benefits of Brimed-T Eye Drop at a glance:
Brimed-T ophthalmic solution is used in the reduction of elevated IOP in patients with glaucoma or ocular hypertension who require adjunctive or replacement therapy due to inadequate control of IOP.
Both Brimonidine and Timolol have a rapid onset of action, with peak ocular hypotensive effect seen at two hours post-dosing for Brimonidine and one to two hours for Timolol.
Preclinical studies have shown that Brimonidine has neuro-protective effects.
Only selective alpha2-adrenergic receptor agonist approved for chronic treatment in Glaucoma
Ocular hypotensive agent reduces aqueous humor production and Increases outflow of aqueous humor from the eye.
